Well, initially you have a right to ask for a re-hearing with the appellate court. Generally, you want to point out any error you think they made. The re-hearing request is not to re-argue what you’ve already argued but if there is something that you believe that the court got wrong or didn’t comprehend, you want to try to straighten that error out and ask for a re-hearing. Now, those are really granted but they do occur on occasion. There are other avenues to pursue once the re-hearing is allowed after you’ve lost the appeal.
